With a greater amount of tension and compression float, these tap holders allow you to produce gage perfect threads when the machine does not have a rigid or synchronized tapping cycle.
For use on CNC lathes or machining centers as well as conventional machines.
A releasable hard start keeps tapping depth accurate and consistent.
SM Models available with multi-range Rubber Flex collets or ER collets.
TA and TIC models come with a quick change chuck for fast tap change over without wrenches.
TA and TIC also include a safety feature that releases the quick change adapter if the tension float is accidentally exceeded.
TIC includes high pressure internal coolant up to 50 bar.
